I've had a sore throat/cold for abut 5 days now. A cold I would expect to last this long maybe longer but the sore throat usually goes away after the first day or so.
Went to the doctor yesterday and he told me he was almost positive that it wasn't strep throat like I suspected. He told me that it was post nasal drip that was causing my throat to be so sore. So, he gave me some nasal spray that i get to use 4 times a day.
Last night though I was looking in the mirror at the back of my throat and there is this wierd white patch. Isn't that kinda a sign of infection? Maybe he missed it cause he seemed in kind of a hurry.
Anyways. He did a throat swab thing and the results should say wether or not I have it. It doesn't seem to be getting better and I'm up all night with it.
Anyone got a gun I could borrow?
